Renewing and transferring a .org domain
A .org renews automatically each year at the renewal price shown on this page, and you can switch auto renew off for that domain in the dashboard. We email you 30 days and 7 days before expiry and again after it, which matters when the person who registered the domain has moved on. You can extend a .org for several years at once, up to 10 years in total. To bring a .org from another registrar, unlock it there, copy the EPP code and start a domain transfer. The transfer adds one year to the registration and most transfers finish within 5 days. A .org cannot move within 60 days of registration or of a change of registrant.
