Every domain at NameBest is priced per extension and billed as a yearly subscription. The table below shows the first year, renewal and transfer price for each extension, and WHOIS privacy is included in all of them where the registry allows it. There are no plans, bundles or paid add-ons.

How our domain prices work
We publish one price for each action on each extension: registering, renewing and transferring. What you see in the table is what you see in the search results, in the cart and at checkout. Nothing is added later.
- First year is what you pay today to register the domain for one year, or for the minimum term where a registry requires more.
- Renews at is what the domain costs each following year. It sits next to the first year price on every result so you can judge the real cost.
- Transfer is what you pay to move a domain to NameBest. A transfer adds one year to the registration, so the payment is not lost.
- WHOIS privacy is part of the price. You never see it as a separate line.

Domain renewal prices without the first year trick
Many registrars sell the first year below cost and recover it at renewal, when moving a domain feels like too much work. On some extensions, such as .xyz and .io, the renewal costs more than the first year. The first year and renewal price are both shown before you pay, so year two holds no surprise. Each domain is a yearly subscription with auto renew
When you register a domain, it renews automatically each year at the renewal price in the table. Where a registry requires a longer first term, such as two years for .ai, the first payment covers that term and renewals are yearly after it. Auto renew is on by default because a lapsed domain can take your website and email down with it. Each domain has its own switch in your dashboard. Turn it off and the domain stays yours until the end of the paid year, then expires unless you renew it by hand.
- Reminder emails go out 30 days and 7 days before expiry, and again after it.
- Each renewal comes with an invoice in your dashboard.
- One card pays for every domain in your account, each on its own date.

Questions about domain prices
Why do you show the renewal price so prominently?
Because it is what you pay every year after the first. A domain is usually kept for many years, so the renewal price matters more than the first year price.
Do prices change?
Registries can change their prices, and when they do, our table follows. A price change applies to the next renewal, never to a year you have already paid. Renewal reminders always show the price that will be charged.
Are there any extra fees at checkout?
No. The cart shows the same first year and renewal prices as the table. WHOIS privacy, DNS, forwarding and nameservers are included, and there is no setup fee.
Why does .ai need two years?
The .ai registry requires a minimum registration of 2 years. The price in the search result covers both years, and renewals after that can be yearly.
Do you offer discounts for many domains?
The price is the same for every account. Agencies and companies with many domains pay the table price for each one, with one card and an invoice for every payment. See domain management for agencies.
Is the transfer price an extra cost?
A transfer adds one year to the domain, so the transfer price pays for that year. You keep the time you already paid for at your old registrar. Start on the domain transfer page.
